Overview

The City of Buenos Aires is the capital of the Argentine Republic and is located in the southern hemisphere, latitude 34º 36 and longitude 58º 26. The city extends on a plain and has 202 square kilometres (78.3 sq miles). Approximately 3 million people live in this city. Including the metropolitan area, the total population of Buenos Aires is above ten millions, making it one of the 10 most populated urban centres in the world. The Río de la Plata and the Riachuelo are the natural borders of the city on the east and south, respectively. The rest of the metropolitan perimeter is surrounded by the General Paz Avenue from north to west. This avenue provides a fast connection between the city and the Greater Buenos Aires, a densely populated area with important business and industrial activity.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival to Buenos Aires 
Airport Arrival.
Meet and greet with our Argentina representative at airport.
Private transfer from Airport to hotel in Buenos Aires.
Free time for leisure.
Overnight at Hotel in Buenos Aires.

Day 2: Buenos Aires City Tour
Breakfast AM City Tour (4 hours)
Discover the beauty and wonders of Buenos Aires; view the National Congress, the Metropolitan Cathedral next to the Government House in may square area. Admire the Colon Theater, one of the most important opera houses in Latin America. Visit San Telmo, traditional neighborhood where Tango performances can be seen in many bars and restaurants. Stop at La Boca colorful neighborhood, which was, seat of immigrants – manly Italians – and now home of some artists. Enjoy Palermo, an area that combines its architecture and history with entertainment and amusement in its green spaces. Finally, La Recoleta, an exclusive and elegant neighborhood where the famous cemetery is found. Although it may seem unusual, fashionable restaurants, bars, cafes, discos and a cinema complex also surround the area. Free time for leisure or lunch at a traditional Argentinean “parrilla” (steak house). Tango Dinner Show at the best Opera houses from Buenos Aires. Overnight at Hotel in Buenos Aires.

Day 3: Free Day

Free time for leisure.

Optional Activities:
a – Half day or Full day Tigre tour with lunch and navigation
A pleasant journey along the River Plate’s coast and through beautiful residential areas in Buenos Aires: private neighborhoods, sailing clubs, marinas and slips.
The enchantment of the renewed old English train stations allows visitors to enjoy one of the most modern trains in the country and a great variety of entertainments.
San Isidro, the biggest train station, is the only outdoormall in Argentina.
This commercial area has movie theaters, restaurants of different style and menus, and many shop. The ride ends in Delta station where the greatest amusement park in South America, «Parque de la Costa», invites you to enjoy the attractions and shows.

b – Estancia Full day tour
Learn the aspects of the Gaucho’s life. A whole day countryside participating in Sortija and Cuadrera races. Enjoy a fabulous barbecue, «empanadas» (meat pies) all served with argentine wines. Folk music and dancing performances will be shown.

Optional activity during the night:

c – Tango Tour & “Milongas”
This tour will allow you to trace the roots and the origins of our tango. We will take you through places where the tango has left its mark and where even today you can take pleasure in the music and the dance. We will visit the corners where the great master of tango, Carlos Gardel lived and made his music. We will immerse ourselves in the Buenos Aires tanguero, the Buenos Aires of the arrabal, the china cuartelera and the berretín. The tango is part of Buenos Aires and Buenos Aires is part of tango, discover it with us. We will end this tour at two traditional “Milongas”, the real cafés where local people feels “El Tango”. Overnight at Hotel in Buenos Aires.

Day 4: Transfer out
Breakfast.
Private transfer from hotel to Airport with our Argentina representative
