Altiplano country, of Aymara origin, but also of plains and valleys. Bolivia is Lake Titicaca, the Salar de Uyuni, the Cordillera de los Andes. In it beautiful churches, mansions and monuments have been declared Cultural Patrimony of the Nation. We cannot leave aside their folklore and typical dances! Culture, history and impressive natural spectacles, it´s what you will find in this destination.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL TO THE LA PAZ / PM CITY TOUR AND MOON VALLEY HD

Pick up and reception at the hotel in La Paz.  P.m. Our tour begins with the visit of the famous witch doctors market, San Francisco Colonial Church and the typical handicrafts of the Sagarnaga Street.The tour continues to Plaza Murillo where the Cathedral, the Government Palace and the National Congress buildings are located. Then, visit the famous colonial street Jaen where interesting museums are clustered together. To change scenery the tour continues to the residential areas of Obrajes, Calacoto and La Florida. The tour ends with a visit to the unique Moon Valley, where passengers will have the opportunity to walk around, and visit a ceramic workshop with a demonstration of the art of pottery.

DAY 2: UYUNI SALT FLAT FULL DAY WITH SUNSET (no visit to Coquesa Mummies)

Meals: Breakfast & Lunch.

After Breakfast pick up and transfer to the airport to take your flight to Uyuni (airfare NOT included). Pick up from the Airport.  Departure to the Salt Flat visiting the Train Cemetery, the Colchani village where is possible to observe the extracting salt process by hand and the salt local handicrafts. Visit to «Playa Blanca» a museum of salt; «Ojos de Sal», the salt eyes, interesting to be the exit points of the salt water; salt hexagons, geometric shapes on the salt flats surface, piles of salt and we will cross the salt flats to enjoy the beautiful landscapes. Picnic Lunch. Also you can visit to Incahuasi Island, it is located in the heart of the salt flat and it is the biggest of a group of islands that represents an isolated ecosystem.  The island is populated with giant cacti species that measures up to 12 meters high (26.25 feet), providing an impressive overview. We will appreciate the sunset, take pictures and drop off to the hotel.

From April to November, dry season, the salt flats surface gives the opportunity to play with photography and perspective. 

From December to March, the entire salt flats surface is covered with water and becomes a huge white mirror where the sky is perfectly reflected on the salt flat surface. Due to the flooding during this season, some of the attractions might not be reachable and as a precaution vehicles will only go to the safest flooded locations. We suggest you to wear sandals to enjoy the warm water of the salt.

NOTES: When the service starts at a salt hotel in Colchani does not include the visit to the Train Cemetery.

Day 3: UYUNI SALT FLAT FULL DAY TUNUPA VOLCANO AND SURROUNDINGS

Meals: Breakfast & Lunch.

Pick up from the Hotel. Continue visiting the north side of salt flat, where we take a look the Coquesa Mummies, human archeological remains in a little cave near to Tunupa Volcano, from where you can observe the immensity of the salt flats in addition to that we carry on to the circular and wet Chiquini Cave which is full of stalactites and stalagmites.
