Costa Rica San José Arenal Volcano Playa 7 Days

DAY 1: ARRIVAL AND TRANSFER TO HOTEL

Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel in San Jose. We will gather at night to enjoy a welcome dinner while enjoying a traditional folklore show. Accommodation in San Jose. Meals included: dinner

DAY 2: TOUR ARENAL VOLCANO & * FORTUNA TYPE FULL DAY ACTIVITY

Today we are doing a full day tour and travel to Arenal area. A «must do» tour in Arenal for sure! This amazing light hike will take you to the very base of the volcano (still at a safe distance), to witness the magnificence of the almost perfectly conical 5479 ft tall Arenal Volcano. This giant is active since 1968, and even though it has been calmer lately it’s an outstanding adventure. During the hike, our well-informed guides, will explain you all about the volcano: its activity periods, a little bit of history related to it and will show you some landmarks that has left over the years. At the Hot Springs enjoy a healthy and relaxing soak. We will start this experience with a short walk in the surrounding of this majestic Volcano, then after we will enjoy a healthy and relax bath at the hot springs. What to Bring: Camera, bathing suit, comfortable shoes and towel. We will also enjoy lunch in this area. Once we are done with our activities, we will travel back to San Jose.

DAY 3: LAND TRANSFER SAN JOSE – MANUEL ANTONIO / ZIP-LINE

Transfer from San Jose to Quepos. Quepos is a district and the capital of Aguirre canton in Puntarenas Province, Costa Rica. The district has a population of about 22,000 people. The town is about 60 km. south (in a straight line) from Costa Rica’s capital, San José, but is 157 km from that city by road if going through the localities of Atenas, Orotina and Tárcoles. Quepos is the gateway to Manuel Antonio National Park. The city is very tourism-oriented, having many bars and restaurants and a vivacious night-life. The town is named for the native Quepo Indians who inhabited the place in the colonial era. Quepos is well known thanks to being the gateway to a popular National Park and beaches in Costa Rica.

UPON ARRIVAL: TOUR SUPERMAN ZIPLINNING / MEALS LUNCH INCLUDED

Superman line, Central America’s longest double-cabled zipline. Over a kilometer in length, and reaching speeds of 40+mph, this exhilarating attraction, ridden in the style of the classic superhero, is not to be missed! DAY 4: GUIDED TOUR MANUEL ANTONIO NATIONAL PARK TYPE HALF DAY ACTIVITY

This park is the most popular in Costa Rica with beautiful white sand beaches surrounded by emerald waters and jungle. Our naturalist guide will explain the history and geography of the area as well as help you get the most of your visit pointing out sloths, monkeys, birds and all kind of animals. What to Bring: Camera, sun lotion, repellent, swimsuit, towel, waking shoes. What’s included: Transportation, bilingual guide, entrance fee. Snacks & refreshments.

DAY 5: TOUR COASTAL CATAMARAN ADVENTURE + SNORKEL HALF DAY

Enjoy an outstanding naturalist tour with amazing views of the Manuel Antonio National Park on board of our catamaran. The morning visit includes a freestyle diving adventure in a beautiful and secluded bay known as Playa Biezans. Get to experience humpback whales, dolphins and the beautiful marine wild life. On board we offer an excellent selection of snacks and natural juices. As you cruise along the coast, enjoy the sea breeze, the summer sunshine of Costa Rica and this unique tropical paradise at is best. No matter if with your entire family, your significant other or in a group of friends be sure to not to miss out on this unique and memorable journey! Sail with us, dive with us, slide down into the refreshing Pacific Ocean from our slide and get entertained by a live music show. After the tour you will be taken back to your selected hotel.

DAY 6: FREE DAY AT LEISURE.

Today is a day free. Enjoy by the pool or at the beach. Today is our last day in Costa Rica and be sure to maximize your day and relax away. At night we will have our farewell dinner.

In the morning, we will be taken back to the airport for our flight back to our country.

Important Remarks

The pricing is based on current prices and therefore subject to change prior to confirmation of services. A valid passport for at least 6 months after travel date is required. The Costa Rica tourism tax legislation is currently under review and may create increases to additional services not currently taxed. In the event this legislation is enacted and a date defined when the new rule becomes effective will require increases in outstanding quotes.

Due to a government decree, pending of approval, several tourist activities will be subject to the application of a 13% sales tax. The given rates do not include this increase as the decree is not effective yet, but as soon as the regulation is confirmed the final rate of this quote will be affected.
