Express Lima Cusco 04 Days / 03 Nights

EXPRESS LIMA CUSCO
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN LIMA 

Reception and transfer to the selected hotel in Lima. Overnight in Lima.

DAY 2: CUSCO / CITY TOUR

Pick up and transfer to the airport to take your flight to Cusco (airfare NOT included). Assistance at your arrival in Cusco airport and transfer to the selected hotel. At the hotel a hot Coca tea will be waiting for you to help you avoid altitude sickness. Resting in the morning is highly recommended, that way your body acclimates to the altitude while you sleep. In the afternoon we will start visiting Cusco on a guided sightseeing tour knowing the Main Square, the Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun or Koricancha. Then, we drive out of the City to visit the Inca sites of Kenko, Tambomachay (the Inca baths), Puca Pucara and the impressive Fortress of Sacsayhuaman. When the tour ends we will return to the hotel. Overnight in Cusco.

DAY 3: MACHU PICCHU

In the morning we will be transferred to the train Station for a train journey to the famous Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu. We will arrive to Agua Calientes, located in the province of Urubamba, at an altitude of 2,400 masl. and then we will  take a 25-minute bus drive of winding road, to “The Lost City of the Incas”, having a guided tour to The Historical Sanctuary of Machu Picchu and  visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Clock, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows. After the tour we will have time to stroll around the Archaeological Site at leisure. After lunch we will return to Cusco. Overnight Cusco.

DAY 4: CUSCO / LIMA – CITY TOUR

After breakfast, transfer to Cusco’s airport for going back to Lima (airfare NOT included).  Upon arrival to Lima the driver will be waiting for you with a sign up with your name and will transfer you to the Manhattan Inn Airport Hotel. The guide will star the tour from the hotel. The City Tour visiting the most important places such as: The Main Square, the Cathedral, the Archbishopric, the Palace of Government, the City Hall of Lima, the railway station and the monumental Convent of San Francisco, where we will see its cloisters, catacombs and the religious museum. We will continue the visit with Lima residential zones, arriving then to the district of Miraflores, where we will have a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean and its Beaches. At the end of the tour we will go back to the Hotel. At an appropriate hour, transfer to the Jorge Chavez International Airport.
