LIMA CUSCO PUNO MARVELOUS
DAY 1:   ARRIVAL IN LIMA

Reception and transfer to the selected hotel in Lima. Overnight in Lima.

DAY 2: CUSCO / CITY TOUR

Pick up and transfer to the airport to take your flight to Cusco. Assistance at your arrival in Cusco airport and transfer to the selected hotel. At the hotel a hot Coca tea will be waiting for you to help you avoid altitude sickness. Resting in the morning is highly recommended, that way your body acclimates to the altitude while you sleep. In the afternoon we will start visiting Cusco on a guided sightseeing tour knowing the Main Square, the Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun or Koricancha. Then, we drive out of the City to visit the Inca sites of Kenko, Tambomachay (the Inca baths), Puca Pucara and the impressive Fortress of Sacsayhuaman. When the tour end we will return to the hotel. Overnight in Cusco.

DAY 3: CUSCO / SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS / AGUAS CALIENTES

After breakfast we will have a full day excursion to the “Sacred Valley of the Incas”, where we will appreciate the typical Indian Market of Pisac, which is open every day. After having lunch in a local countryside restaurant, we will visit the Inca Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo. At appropriate we will take the train to Aguas Calientes located in the province of Urubamba, at an altitude of 2,400 masl. At night, the site guide will locate you to give you the briefing of the excursion to Machu Picchu. Overnight in the town of Aguas Calientes.

DAY 4: MACHU PICCHU TOUR

In the morning after breakfast,  we will  take a 25-minute bus drive of winding road, to “The Lost City of the Incas”, having a guided tour to The Historical Sanctuary of Machu Picchu and  visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Clock, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows. After the tour we will have time to stroll around the Archaeological Site at leisure.Time to lunch and then we will take the train back to Cusco. Overnight in Cusco

DAY 5: CUSCO / PUNO

After breakfast, transfer to the station to take the tourist bus to the city of Puno, making several stops in the tourist places to this beautiful city, such as Andahuaylillas, Raqchi, Sicuani, La Raya and Pukara. Upon our arrival, reception at the bus station. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Puno.

DAY 6: UROS ISLANDS / TAQUILE – TITICACA LAKE

After breakfast, transfer to the wharf to approach our boat to the floating islands of Uros. In the morning we will transfer to the pier to board a boat to the floating islands of the Uros, where its inhabitants have used the Totora (local aquatic plant) for the construction of the island and their houses, periodically adding new layers of reeds. We will continue the route towards Taquile Island, inhabited by native quechuas who have developed an efficient and original social system, and a technic of weave which stands out by its great cultural wealth, emphasizing its textile art. Return to the hotel.  Overnight in Puno.

DAY 7: JULIACA / LIMA- SILLUSTANI ON ROUTE

After breakfast, transfer to the Juliaca airport to take the flight to Lima (airfare NOT included). During the way we will initiate the tour towards Sillustani, located at 34 Kms. of Puno city and  one of the greatests archaeological  zones of America, considered like the main cemetery of the qoyas; we will appreciate the famous Funeral Towers denominated Chullpas, which have more than 12 meters of height. At the end of the tour we will continue to the airport to take your flight back to Lima. (airfare NOT included). Upon arrival we will transfer to the hotel select. Overnight in Lima.

DAY 8: LIMA – CITY TOUR / TRANSFER IN THE AIRPORT

In the afternoon, we will start the City Tour, visiting the most important places such as: The Main Square, the Cathedral, the Archbishopric, the Palace of Government, the City Hall of Lima, the railway station and the monumental Convent of San Francisco, where we will see its cloisters, catacombs and the religious museum. We will continue the visit with Lima residential zones, arriving then to the district of Miraflores, where we will have a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean and its Beaches. After the tour we will go to a restaurant for dinner. At an appropriate hour, transfer to the  Jorge Chavez International Airport
