Itinerary

DAY 1: Lima 

Upon your arrival at the airport in Lima you will be welcome by one of our representatives. You will be transferred to your selected hotel and have the day free to enjoy it at your leisure. Overnight at the selected hotel.

 

DAY 2:  LIMA – CITY TOUR

After enjoying your American breakfast you will be picked up to start your city tour in Lima, we will visit the most important places such as: The Greater Seat, the Cathedral and the Archbishopric, the Palace of Government, The Main Square, the Municipality of Lima, the railway station, Santo Domingo Convent, Plaza San Martin and the monumental set of San Francisco, where we will be able to visit its cloister, catacombs and their religious museum. We will continue the visit to the famous Gold Museum, followed by the residential areas of Lima contemporary until arriving at the district of Miraflores from where we will be able to have a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean and its Beaches. At the end of the tour you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Lima

 

DAY 3: FROM LIMA TO CUSCO – CITY TOUR

You will start your day with an American breakfast and then be transferred to Jorge Chavez International Airport to your domestic flight to Cusco. Upon your arrival you will be transferred to your selected hotel. You will have part of the day to rest and adjust yourself to the altitude. In the afternoon you will explore the best of Cusco with an exciting tour of the city’s ancient and colonial sites. You’ll meet your guide to start your Cusco city tour, including stops at the impressive Cathedral on the Plaza de Armas and the temple of Koricancha. You’ll continue on to the hilltop fortress of Sacsayhuaman and the Inca sites of Q’enko,    Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay. You’ll have the rest of the afternoon and evening to enjoy Cusco at your leisure. Overnight at your selected hotel.

 

DAY 4:  PERU – CUZCO / SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS

You will wake up early in the morning to enjoy of your American breakfast and then meet your guide at your hotel to start a full day tour in the Sacred Valley. You will step back in time and learn about ancient Peruvian traditions during a fascinating Sacred Valley tour. You will be taken to the lovely village of Pisac, where you will visit the lively market. Your next stop is Urubamba, where you will be able to explore the streets on your own and then have buffet lunch at the Posada del Inca, before continuing on to the ancient town of Ollantaytambo with its impressive hillside fortress ruins. You’ll travel back to Cusco to enjoy the rest of the day relaxing in the city. Overnight at your selected hotel.

DAY 5:  PERU – TOUR TO MACHU PICCHU / CUSCO 

Start your exciting visit to Machu Picchu, the pride of Peru, the town at the foot of Machu Picchu. You will start your day with an American breakfast and then you will picked up to be taken to train station in Ollantaytambo where you will enjoy with a train ride through beautiful Andean landscapes up to Aguas Calientes, Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, you will take the 20-minute bus ride up to the citadel itself, where you will enjoy a guided tour of the ruins, followed by some free time to explore the site on your own. Once you’ve had your fill of this spectacular archeological site, you will head back to Aguas Calientes to catch your train to Cusco.

 

DAY 6: PERU – FROM CUSCO TO  PUNO

After breakfast you will be transferred to the tourist bus station to your departure to Puno. On the way we will visit archeological places, a bilingual guide will be with us to explain the route. Lunch is included during your trip to Puno. You will visit the chullpas of Sillustani before the bus ride ends. Upon your arrival to Puno you will be taken to Uros Island located in the Titicaca Lake, where you will learn about the inhabitants culture, lifestyle and enjoy of the magnificent landscape. At the end of the tour you will be transferred to your selected hotel. Overnight in Puno.

DAY 7: LAZ PAZ PUNO – COPACABANA – SUN ISLAND (SOUTH) – INTI WATA COMPLEXCHUA – LA PAZ

Early land transfer to Copacabana Sanctuary, board the Catamaran Cruise Ship, snack on board while sailing to Sun Island, the legendary birthplace of the Inca Empire. Visit the Inca Garden, steps and fountain followed by the Inti Wata Cultural Complex including the Ekako Underground Museum, the traditional medicine and the Titikaka Reed Shipbuilders display centers, the Pachamama agricultural Inca terraces, a handicraft center, the Intica lounge and at the Manco Kapac look out the largest variety of Andean camelids. Also, the Inti Wata Complex at Sun Island includes a unique sailing experience aboard a huge Titikaka traditional vessel for a panoramic visit to the Pilkokaina Inca Palace. Catamaran Cruise Ship to Chua harbor while enjoying a buffet lunch on board, land transfer to La Paz. Overnight at the selected hotel.

 

DAY 8: LA PAZ – SANTIAGO CITY TOUR, MOON VALLEY TOUR, TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT

After have enjoyed of an American buffet breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel to be taken to the famous Witch Doctor’s Market, San Francisco Colonial Church and the typical handicrafts of the Sagarnaga Street. The tour continues to Plaza Murillo where the Cathedral, the Government Palace and the National Congress buildings are located. Then, visit the famous colonial street Jaen where interesting museums are clustered together, followed by a visit to the replica of the semi-subterranean temple of the Tiwanaku Culture. To change scenery the tour continues to the residential areas of Obrajes, Calacoto and La Florida. The tour ends with a visit to the unique Moon Valley, where passengers will have the opportunity to walk around, and visit a ceramic workshop with a demonstration of the art of pottery. After the tour you will be transferred to the airport for your international flight to Santiago. Arrival in Santiago at 21.15. PVT Transfer to hotel. Overnight at the Hotel (4*) (standard rooms)

 

DAY 9: SANTIAGO DE CHILE – CITY TOUR

Buffet breakfast. Half day city tour of Santiago (4 h) The tour begins by heading south through the downtown area, passing the Club Hípico, a horseracing track in the older residential area of the city. Proceed alongside the Parque O’Higgins and the Cousiño Palace.From here along the  Alameda, seeing the Chilean University, San Francisco Church and the Santa Lucia Hill, site of Santiago’s foundation in 1541. Then visit the Plaza de Armas and the cathedral. Visit the Pre-Colombian Art Museum,  famous Central Market, . Afterwards, continue the tour by crossing the Mapocho River to reach the bohemian Bellavista district on the way to the San Cristóbal Hill. From one of the hill`s view points,  view of Santiago and the Andes Mountains.To round off the tour,  pass through the modern residential areas of the city with their daring architecture and, finally, the bustling Providencia shopping zone. Overnight Pre-Colombian Museum will be closed for reparations until last days of 2013.

 

DAY 10: FREE DAY IN SANTIAGO DE CHILE

Buffet breakfast. Free day or optional excursions can be offered today. Overnight

 

DAY 11: FROM SANTIAGO TO BUENOS AIRES

Buffet breakfast. PVT Transfer to the airport of Santiago and flight to Buenos Aires (LA481 SCL/EZE 20.50-23:55). Arrival in Buenos Aires and PVT transfer to the hotel with guide Overnight at Hotel (4*) (standard room)

 

DAY 12:  BUENOS AIRES – CITY TOUR

Buffet breakfast. PVT In the morning halfday city tour 3hrs – Drive to the Plaza de Mayo & visit Casa Rosada, Cabildo,Metropolitan Cathedral. Visit district San Telmo. Visit the worker district La Boca, Recoleta  & the grave of Eva Duarte, Avenida 9 de Julio, with the famous obelisk. Than continues to the Plaza Lavalle, Federal Court of Justice and the Teatro Colón. Than visit Palermo. The rest of the day at leisure. Overnight

 

DAY 13:  BUENOS AIRES – TANGO SHOW

Buffet breakfast. Free day or Half day excursion to visit Tigre In the evening or morning Optional visit of a tango show inclusive dinner in Tango Porteño, Esquina Carlos Gardel or El Querandi * Dinner show with transfers Estancia full day with show and barbeque   Overnight.

 

DAY 14: BUENOS AIRES – FREE DAY

Buffet breakfast. Free day. Overnight

DAY 15 : FROM BUENOS AIRES TO IGUAZÚ

Buffet breakfast. PVT Transfer from the hotel to the airport. Flight to Iguazu. Flight: AEP/IGR LA4022 10.10-11.55 AM. (not included)  PVT Upon arrival visit the Argentinean side of the falls with local guide. In the afternoon transfer to hotel, which has to be located on the Brazilian side !! Overnight Hotel  (3or4*) (standard rooms) Optional: The great adventure.

 

DAY 16 : IGUASSU

Buffet breakfast. In the morning visit the Brazilian side of the falls with local guide. Return to hotel. Free time. Overnight.

 

DAY 17: IGUASSU – RIO DE JANEIRO

Buffet breakfast. PVT Transfer to the airport for the flight to Rio de Janeiro. Flight: IGU/GIG JJ3186 09.30-11:25 RIO: Arrival @ 11:25 at airport and transfer to hotel Overnight at BW Augusto´s Rio Copa – Std room

 

DAY 18: RIO DE JANEIRO

Buffett breakfast. FD Corcovado & Sugar Loaf (06 Hours) without stop for lunch Overnight at BW Augusto´s Rio Copa – Std room

 

DAY 19: RIO DE JANEIRO

Buffett breakfast. Day at leisure Overnight at BW Augusto´s Rio Copa – Std room

 

DAY 20: RIO DE JANEIRO
