Day 1: Cusco – Soraypampa – Humantay Lake – Soyroccocha

We depart Cusco early, passing scenic Andean towns like Iscuchaca and Limatambo. Upon arrival at Soraypampa (3,900 m), enjoy breakfast with views of the Humantay Glacier. We hike to the stunning Humantay Lake (4,200 m), then continue to Soyroccocha for our first campsite beneath the towering Salkantay. Afternoon snacks and dinner included.

Day 2: Soyroccocha – Apacheta Pass – Salkantay Lake – Colpapampa

After breakfast, we ascend to Apacheta Pass (4,650 m), the trek’s highest point, offering views of Salkantay, Humantay, and Huayanay peaks. A side hike leads us to the magical Salkantay Lake. We then descend into the cloud forest, passing waterfalls and orchids, until we reach Colpapampa (2,900 m) for the night.

Day 3: Colpapampa – Lucmabamba – Coffee Experience – Cocalmayo Hot Springs

The trail leads us into the high jungle with tropical flora and fauna. In Lucmabamba, we enjoy lunch and a hands-on organic coffee experience, roasting and tasting fresh beans. In the afternoon, we visit the Cocalmayo Hot Springs for a rejuvenating soak. Dinner and overnight at camp.

Day 4: Lucmabamba – Llactapata – Hydroelectric – Aguas Calientes

We hike along a lesser-known section of the Inca Trail to Llactapata ruins, with an incredible side view of Machu Picchu. After visiting the site, we descend to Hidroelectrica for lunch and then walk 3 hours along the railway to Aguas Calientes. Dinner and hotel accommodation included.

Day 5: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Ollantaytambo – Cusco

We take an early bus to Machu Picchu for sunrise, followed by a guided 2-hour tour of the citadel. After free time and lunch in Aguas Calientes, we board the train to Ollantaytambo and transfer to Cusco, arriving in the evening.

Day 1: Cusco – Mollepata – Humantay Lake – Soraypampa

We depart Cusco early and travel through beautiful Andean landscapes, passing villages like Iscuchaca and Limatambo. In Soraypampa (3,900 m), we enjoy breakfast with views of Salkantay and Humantay Glacier. After lunch in Lucmabamba, we enjoy a coffee farm experience—harvesting, roasting, and tasting fresh Peruvian coffee. In the afternoon, we visit Cocalmayo Hot Springs (optional), then continue to Hidroeléctrica and hike to Aguas Calientes. Dinner and hotel overnight in town.

Day 4: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu Tour – Cusco

After early breakfast, we take the first bus to Machu Picchu to catch the sunrise. A guided 2-hour tour explores its agricultural terraces, temples, and spiritual significance. Day 1: Cusco – Cuncani – Huaca Wasi

We depart early from Cusco, traveling through the Sacred Valley and visiting artisan markets and archaeological sites. After about 4 hours by vehicle, we reach Lares (3,250 m) and continue to Cuncani to begin our hike. We trek past Laguna Negra and Paccha Pata, where we stop for lunch, then continue to our camp in Huaca Wasi (3,600 m). Approx. 4 hrs by vehicle + 5 hrs walking.

Day 2: Huaca Wasi – Ipsay Pass – Patacancha

Today we climb to the Ipsay Pass (4,400 m), the highest point of the trek, passing through beautiful ecological zones and local communities preserving ancestral traditions. We descend to Patacancha (3,650 m), where we will camp or stay with a local family. Approx. 6 hrs walking.

Day 3: Patacancha – Willoc – Pumamarca – Ollanta – Machu Picchu

We visit the traditional Andean communities of Patacancha and Willoc, then descend through ancient Inca terraces toward Pumamarca with panoramic views of the Willoq Valley. The journey continues to Ollantaytambo, where we relax before boarding the train to Machu Picchu for dinner and overnight rest. Approx. 6 hrs walking.

Day 4: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu Tour – Cusco

We depart early from Cusco (3,350 m) heading northwest to Cachora (2,850 m). After breakfast en route, we reach Capuliyoc, our trek’s starting point, with panoramic views of the snowcapped Padreyoc (5,571 m).

Here we meet our muleteers and pack animals. From Capuliyoc Pass (2,800 m), we enjoy sweeping views of the Apurímac Canyon and spot Choquequirao in the distance. We descend via a zigzag trail to Chiquisca (1,930 m), where we have lunch and camp. Hiking time: 3–4 hours.

Day 2: Chiquisca – Playa Rosalina – Marampata – Choquequirao

After breakfast, we descend 30 minutes to Playa Rosalina (1,500 m), then begin a strenuous uphill trek in warm conditions until reaching Marampata (2,850 m), our scenic campsite overlooking Choquequirao.

At sunset, condors can often be seen gliding over the site from the high Vilcabamba mountains. Hiking time: 7 hours.

Day 3: Choquequirao – Marampata – Playa Rosalina – Chiquisca

At dawn, we witness sunrise over Choquequirao and enjoy a guided exploration of its terraces, temples, and uncovered areas—only 30% of the site is restored so far.

We then return to Marampata, descend to Playa Rosalina, and ascend back to Chiquisca for our final campsite. Hiking time: 6 hours.

Day 4: Chiquisca – Capuliyoc – Cachora – Cusco

We begin our last day with an ascent to Capuliyoc (2,850 m) across dry, sunny terrain with views of the Apurímac Canyon. Lucky hikers might spot condors soaring above.

The trail levels out as we approach Cachora. From here, our private transport takes us back to Cusco. Hiking time: 3–4 hours.

Day 1: Cusco – Km 104 – Wiñayhuayna (6 walking hours)

We begin with a transfer from the hotel to the train station, heading towards Km 104 (2,250 m), the starting point of our hike on the Inca Trail. Accompanied by an experienced guide, we visit the archaeological site of Chachabamba (2,270 masl), and then ascend to the highest point of this section of the trail at Wiñayhuayna (2,650 masl).

From Wiñayhuayna, we continue along the trail passing through Inti Punku (the Sun Gate at 2,780 meters) where we get our first panoramic view of Machu Picchu (2,400 masl). Before entering the citadel, we take a short bus ride down to Aguas Calientes (2,050 masl), where we spend the night at a hotel. Box lunch and dinner included.

Day 2: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco

Around 6:00 a.m., we take the first bus up to Machu Picchu (2,400 m) with our guide. There, we enjoy a guided tour lasting approximately two hours, followed by free time to explore the ruins at our own pace.

After the visit, we regroup in Aguas Calientes for lunch and later board the train back to Cusco.

After a delicious breakfast, we begin the most challenging part of the trail, ascending to the highest point called Warmiwañusca (Dead Woman’s Pass) at 4,270 masl. After enjoying lunch amidst stunning mountain views, we descend to our second campsite at Pacaymayu. Dinner and overnight camping. (B, L, D)

Day 3: Pacaymayu – Wiñaywayna (12 KM / 8 walking hours approx.)

Following breakfast, we descend to Runkurakay (3,850 masl), then continue to the Inca site of Sayacmarca, where we will have lunch. In the afternoon, after a short rest, we resume trekking to our final campsite at Wiñaywayna. Here, we enjoy a guided tour of this spectacular site. Dinner and overnight camping. (B, L, D)

Day 4: Wiñaywayna – Machu Picchu – Cusco (2 walking hours approx.)

Early in the morning, after breakfast, we head to Intipunku (Sun Gate) for our first breathtaking view of Machu Picchu.
