Tour Itinerary Summary

Day 1: Cusco – Km 82 – Wayllabamba (6 hours)

Morning departure from Cusco to Km 82 to begin the Inca Trail. After passing the checkpoint, hike to Llactapata for lunch, then continue to the first campsite in Wayllabamba.

Day 2: Wayllabamba – Pacaymayu (7 hours)

Start early and climb to Warmiwañusca Pass (4,200 m), the highest point of the trek. After lunch, descend to the Pacaymayu campsite.

Day 3: Pacaymayu – Wiñaywayna (8 hours)

Hike up to Runkurakay Pass (3,850 m), visit Sayacmarca, and continue to the final campsite at Wiñaywayna. Afternoon guided tour of the site.

Day 4: Wiñaywayna – Machu Picchu (2 hours)

Early trek to the Sun Gate (Intipunku) for sunrise views of Machu Picchu. Guided tour of the citadel, then return to Aguas Calientes and take train and bus back to Cusco.
