Robert Moses State Park Overview
Located at the western tip of Fire Island, this beachfront park offers nearly five miles of ocean shore and easy access via car or Babylon train. It’s a popular destination for swimming, boogie-boarding, surfing, and surf-fishing.
Facilities & Activities
All four lifeguard-staffed fields include concessions, beach shops, outdoor showers, restrooms, and first aid stations. Scenic picnic areas with grills are available at Fields 2, 3, and 4.
Golf & Sports
Field 2 features an 18-hole Pitch & Putt Golf Course (open April–November) and a large volleyball area with 21 courts. Nearby Democrat Point offers 4×4 access for surfing and fishing.
