Start the trek from Km 104 with a guided visit to Chachabamba ruins. Continue to Wiñayhuayna, the most important site on this trail section, and pass through the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) before reaching Machu Picchu. Bus to Aguas Calientes for overnight stay.
Day 2: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco

Day 4: Lucmabamba – Llactapata – Machu Picchu Town
Hike the Inca Trail to Llactapata ruins with Machu Picchu views. Continue to Hydroelectric Station and take the train to Aguas Calientes for overnight stay.
Day 5: Machu Picchu – Cusco

2-hour drive to Combapata for local breakfast with native cereals. Quick stop at Combapata viewpoint to see the Salcca and Vilcanota rivers meet.
Yanaoca to Q’ewe
Continue to Yanaoca and then Q’ewe. First sight of the bridge from Apurimac canyon.
Q’eswachaka Bridge Crossing
Short descent to viewpoint for photos. Cross the Incan bridge with a guide, followed by a cultural briefing from the bridge keeper.
Four Lakes Region
Visit Pampamarca, Asnacqoccha, Acopia, and Pomacanchi lakes. Enjoy a lakeside picnic surrounded by birds and landscapes.
Return to Cusco
Explore Rumi Punku before returning to Cusco around 4:30 pm.
